The BIT are 100% tested immediately before shipping. Please check that the cover is completely installed and not cross threaded. Also, you could have dislodged the switch inside during install. You can carefully remove the cover and inspect. Be very careful not to lose the switch dome. It is held in place with silicone grease. You should also verify you did not damage the cable during installation.
